Diop and Masuaku
Surely we are better without them.

That performance from Diop is the worst individual performance I've ever witnessed

Both dreadful players.

Very poor.

Would rather have Balbuena in the team.

Re: Diop and Masuaku
Balbuena every day over Diop, at least with him you knew you would get 100% unlike that French twat.

Re: Diop and Masuaku
Diop was worse than usual today, I wouldn’t ever play him again. Masuaka similar, Vlasic didn’t do a lot but Masuaka was never going to change the game

Today highlighted why we've over performed this season. 1st eleven is match for anyone but after that it's garbage

Re: Diop and Masuaku
To think of the stick I took on here when I said we should've done all we can to get Diop out the club a couple of years ago, as he still had some credit because Mourinho called him a MONSTER once.

Another one we'll now have to cut our losses with. Would struggle to get £5mil for him now.

Re: Diop and Masuaku
Diop at one stage strolled through yhe midfield into the Leeds half. He should of carried on an had a shot. He never got a call from someone to say he was covered. His confidence in carrying on wasn't there but he still needed a team mate to help out.
His two passes to team mates weren't great But each should of been controlled better.
As for Masuaku he needs his own thread.
The Worst player I've seen in a long time and some c**ts on here think he should start.
Why Moyes thinks he's worth a place f**k knows. It's why I will never warm to the jock twat

Re: Diop and Masuaku
Diop was 'the monster' when we first signed him - he had his own thread (for the right reasons) and now he's turned to shit. What happened?

The reason he is still here is because we cant field a defence without him, poor as he's been. If Newcastle or another side come in we should sell, but only if we replace with better.

For me Diop has been dreadful from day one

Re: Diop and Masuaku
Diop had an absolute shocker today!

Couldn’t pass. Out of position and crazy attempts at tackles .

His habit of flying in has costs goals recently.
Plus for someone so tall he can’t head the ball.

Zouma back now thankfully.

Diop was okay his first season when he had Ogbonna alongside him and then Rice in a three.

Shocking player.

No, you got stick because you laughably thought that we could sell him for £25m. I very much doubt that any club would have put any premium on him because of what Mourinho said about one performance two years before.

Pedro 8:03 .He didn't have Ogbonna beside him it was balbuena and we conceded a shit load of goals that season

Who Arth'ARGHHHHHHHH... that world class player who scored that world class goal v Chelsea and who set up Bowen with that world class assist v Norwich.... we'd be a far fra far more poorer team without him

Re: Diop-bolical and Masuaku
Really dont know what has happened to DIOP
Started well & famously Mourinho raved about him when we smashed Man U but seems to have lost any pace , anticipation & confidence.
Looks shot to pieces & today felt like one of those performances that feel like he is now unselectable.
Was a danger to us and havent seen centre half play like that since we moved Malky Mackay out.

Astonishing that we are 4th with the likes of Diop, Arthur & Yarmolenko in our match day squad.

Re: Diop-bolical and Masuaku
I used to really like Diop and wanted him to find that old form.

But what the fuck was that today?????? Absolutely abysmal. Looked like he'd won a place in the team from a competition on a cornflakes packet.

Shocking.

But to be fair, most of them were shite today

What are you getting out of that?

Re: Diop and Masuaku
I'm pretty sure two goals from really poor passes or passage of plays starting with Diop today. I don't blame him for being shit, it's been like that for several weeks it's down to Moyes today.

The subs of masuaku and yarmolenko are very questionable. The Ukrainian definitely must have some gossip on Moyes of some sort as God knows why he's brought on. Both replacements at 50% match fitness offer more than those two.

Yet another chance goes begging with us. A chance to get clear of arsenal and behind Chelsea and we manage to fuck it up.

Oh well.

Re: Diop and Masuaku
Dawson for 2 million is a great squad player and while he was not great either today and is technically poor ( passing / control ) he gives his best always and puts his body on the line.

Diop for 20 million is a lot younger but for me and from early on, does not put his body on the line and looks like he is scared of getting badly hurt. He also, like Dawson, is technically poor and especially his control ( couldnt trap bag of cement etc) and his passing is essentially giving the ball back to the opposition 5 out of 10 times or more today. In other words, he is not good enough and is not improving. He was thumping it into row Z as the Leeds press had him completely unnerved.

We need better than him both technically and physically. He is like the kid at school that grew tall like a beanpole but a big girls blouse when it came to fisty cuffs etc. :-( This is a man that plays within himself and will never launch himself into an aerial challenge or stretch every sinue of his body / neck for fear of injury and pain. Not ideal for a CB even in the namby pamby modern day Premiership.

Arfur? Again not good enough for the squad really although I would not say he did much wrong last 2 games in his cameo appearances.

You mean apart from the 3 passes to Leeds players and constantly being in the wrong place plus out of position. The only time he passed to one of our players was back to Fabianski. He's never in a position to accept the ball to do anything with.

Having watched Okoflex a lot he runs at the opposition ,scores and causes problems, tackles back and wins the ball. Everything you could want from a player. There's no way he could do any worse than Masuaku.
Moyes is an idiot for not realising this months ago.
